My mother loves chickens, so there's a lot of interesting rooster artifacts around the house. I drew this porcelain Portuguese rooster first, then used it as inspiration to create my own Mayan twist on the design.It's good to use inspiration from the real world. If you're not having any ideas, or a bad sketch day, draw from life first. Just a quick, bad drawing. Then use the experience to make something better and better!!!
